There are some new functions in V4.0, but the selection menue of parameters and functions in the chanel assignment menue ("Kanalzuordnung/Funktion") is not up to date. I dont know what happens, if I select a parameter for a chanel that does not exist any more in V4.
Please implemet also the ...

Only Jeti EX Bus should be allowed for GTR
It is a source for mistakes in the Spirit setup program, if I can set other bus protocols for GTR for Rx communication than Jeti Ex Bus. I think in previous versions this was nor possible

Re: Question about the optical altitude sensor
Now that version 4 is ready, please, I would like to get an answer to my question. Simply said: What do you need the laser sensor on the geolink2 for? Is it worth the effort to find a special position for GeoLink2 so that the laser sensor can see the ground? So far it has only been useful for auto ...

Question about the optical altitude sensor
The GeoLink V2 has a barometric and optical altitude sensor. When exactly is the optical laser sensor active or relevant? When the helicopter lifts off the ground, there is an overpressure under the blades and therefore an altitude of about minus 2m is displayed by the barometric sensor. The optical ...

Re: wish list Geolink
It would be especially helpful to have the date and time in the Spirit log files. At the moment, it is very hard to match the log file of Spirit with the log file of Jeti. Sometimes, Spirit generates more tan one log file for one flight. This is confusing.

Re: Question how Return to Home behaves
In the geolink menue, there is a parameter horizontal and vertical gain (in german: Horizontal / Vertikaler Empfindlichkeit). I have set these parameters to 80% and 60%. This is a good value for all of my helis. The default value should not be 100%. If horizontal gain is too small, the heli takes a ...

Re: Question for Rescue Auto
No. If automatic rescue is switched on, it remains switched on. I have programmed my Jeti transmitter so that auto rescue is switched off when I enter flight phase AUTOROTATION or when the motor is switched off.

Re: Cyclic ring 20 degrees?
The same question arises for the tail rotor blades. The mechanical limits allow angles of attack for the tail rotor blades that are probably much too high. I currently have 35° on the right (against rotor torque) and 19° on the left. The asymmetry is due to stop behavior. Mechanically, +/- 40° and ...

Re: OMPhobby M4 max with Spirit GT 3.7.0 tail wagging
I had tail wagging in 2 helicopters (not M4 max) and in both cases the problem was solved after replacing the tail servo with a better servo. To test whether the ESC is the cause of tail wagging, you can set P and I to 0 for a short test flight. I use Spirit GTR and YGE. Especially in M4 (not max ...

Cyclic ring 20 degrees?
I can set the cyclic ring to 20 degrees without mechanical problems when pitch is set to +/- 13 degrees.
I doubt that this makes sense aerodynamically. The motor would probably be overloaded at such a high angle of attack and the airflow on the rotor blade would possibly break off. Should I still ...
