should work means that no elevator mixing is required in HL? What about the mixing in Normal mode?

No idea? The next day with good weather conditions I just will try it out. I have defined a trim switch so that I can set the mixing on elevator to zero in case of any problems.

actually I'm setting up the Spirit Aero in a Freewing Avanti v2. When setting the flaps it is required to give 3mm elevator down. Is this also possible in normal mode? I assume in heading-lock mode it is not required. But how does the Spirit behave in normal mode?

I just want to report a case in which a crash was caused by a wrong version of the spirit.bin. A friend of mine started to flash the new version (2.61) of the spirit firmware to his TDR and he did some other configuration stuff. At this time he didn't think about of also replacing the spirit ...

When heading to North, you should see approximately 90 +/- 4°. Measured value should not be far from this.

Ah ok, from the manual I had the impression, that the RTH function could be combined with every stabilization function like 'Stabilization(Normal)' because there is stated that 'We recommend to set Stabi/Function to Coaxial mode for ...'.

The model is not doing circles at all - when reaching the defined RTH position the model was absolutely stable. It just doesn't reaches the RTH position with skids down if the stabilization is activated in inverted flight - it behaves like I have chosen 'Coaxial' or 'Stabilization(Acro)'

thanks for your message - I did a calibration, as described in the manual, before the mentioned test. But I did the calibration at home - could that cause the problem?

Today I will do the first test with Geolink - as described in the manual I have set the Stabi function to Coax and have activated RTH and Altitude-Limit between 15 and 20 m in Geolink

Does anyone have already experience with these settings ? I want to use it as a replacement of the Rescue-Mode ...
