Updated to new firmware (version 2.1.0) and get warning in Spirit log - RPM Sensor data are lost.
What does that mean?
And, are there any new options to set spoolup rate for AR bailout? Mine is way too fast.
Thanks.

Hi,
if it is too fast, you can increase max. head speed or decrease Governor Response.
It is possible that after the update you will have to change the gains.
Then it should be better.

I'm using HW 100A v3 on 550 setup with good results in fix wing mode. Max 2500rpm, Rate fast.
Spoolup is nice and bailout within 4-5 Sec works as expected.
Coming from FW 2.0 I had to reduce Gov Respond and Gov Hold Performance by 2 points each.
Currently, I'm doing some more testing with latest FW together with Spirit Dev. Team and I'll share Step by Step guide within next days.
Meanwhile I personally recommend to stick with HW internal Gov Store for the moment, which is doing a great job.
I used it for many flights with its build in bailout which I increased to 30 Sek.
If you prepare RPM Out from HW to Spirit (Yellow in Middle pin => PIT) today, you will be able to upgrade to Spirit Gov later by just Swithcing to fixed wing mode and enabling it in Spirit.

Adrian, how is spool up in fixed wing mode? Tried this (no soft spoolup) and busted main gear!
So I`m going back to "governor off" in HW setup. This works for me.
What settings exactly to change in Spirit governor window? I tried more RPM, lower gains - nothing.. as soon as I activate AR bailout, it spools up too fast (almost instantly) and kicks my heli really hard. TT gears are not gonna survive.

Hi Romis
There are only two possibilities if you got to fast rotation on Hold release: 1) Gov not activated in all banks or 2) Bailout switch active on Hold release.
Fix wing has no safety implemented, its for light props and its immediately doing whats requested by Signal. Wrong manipulation/signal might cause damage.
So if your not 100% sure what your doing, I recommend to stay with HW internal Gov.
My TX gives out the following: HOLD 0% / Hold with Bailout Switch 14% / N 72% / ID1 92% / ID2 100%
HW 100A V3 in Fix Wing Mode
Spirit min 1000us max 1940us, Frequency 200Hz
Gov activated in all banks
Max Speed: 2500 on my 550
Rampup: 100us
Rate: fast
Respond: 5
Holding: 3
Test with blades off how it works, you should see requested rpm and current rpm rising.
If you like, attache Servos with Y-Cable to ESC Port to visualize signal going to ESC.
If its working as expected, attache blades, you might start with Rate Slow first.
On Field:
I do start with Hold Release, no Bailout activated.
When I fly, no Bailout Switch is active.
When I plan to Auro, I do activate Bailout Switch, so TX gives 14% on Hold telling Spirit to Bailout on Hold release.
After Landing I deactivate Bailout Switch.
Pay Attention to not start your Heli with Bailout Switch activated, as you get fast Spin immediately, only activate it during flight.
I did implement warning on DX9 if my Switch is active on Powerup TX to protect. Issue is addressed with Dev Team.
