I have the problem that I'm not sure whether the unit has correctly initialized.
Does it mean when the red LED is lighted the unit is ready for flying?
How do I see whether the rescue mode will works?
Sorry but on BD I can see it when the LED shifting from red to green...
(when I activate it with the switch on my TX
[SOLVED] Initialization of the Spirit unit
Hello,
after initialization rescue should always work.
There is no reason with Spirit why initialization should fail, because it is automated.
If something is wrong during initialization it will do required calibrations as long as needed (without your interaction).
If LED is steady, then you are ready to fly. If it is not prepared, it will not react at all.

And, once the unit is initialized (steady red led), you can actually check if the rescue will work: activate it with your switch, the pitch will jump to positive.
