The reason that i have so many cables is that originally i was using Spektrum receivers in both those helicopters. So being lazy when i converted to Taranis i decided to use the existing cabling and use my Taranis receivers in PWM mode. However that was the wrong decision and i will now be taking your route and use the SBUS method instead, so just waiting on the delivery of more SBUS invertors.
The .Lua side of things is working fine, the problem is that after the helicopter has initialized and the swash plate has jumped it will not respond to any Tx inputs whenever the integration cable is fitted. Pick the helicopter up and move it around it's axis and the swash/tail is responds as you would expect.
I just can not get PWM mode to work even though it is wired as per the manual. I have wired up my LOGO 550SX in SBUS with an X4R Rx and it is working fine.... however i have discoverd another problem which i will post in a new thread.
