Hi team Spirit / everyone

Could someone please make a video on setting up the geolink, it shouldn't take long and I'm sure it would be good for sales as well.

Kind Regards,
Peter

What do you mean by settings ? The configuration of the Geolink, or the calibration?

It shouldn't be complicated,bud.
Watch the video posted about the calibration, which was posted by I think a gentleman called Frank, once hooked up,everything is straight forward from the spirit software and the manual.
Trust me,if I can do it,you can too. Also, maybe post exactly what you're having problems with and folks here are as good as it gets, they will help.

Is this the video?

I not that far yet, right now I'm just trying to figure out how to activate all the different functions.

I'll look at it again on monday, and I didn't spend much time I'll admit that its just so much easier to follow a video instruction for me.

^^^^^....Yes,that's the video.
To activate any function, you have to go through this calibration process first, mount the geolink, hook everything up as per the manual, open the spirit software and that's where you can active the various functions you want and assign them to channels.
It's all in the software.

So I spent my entire evening on setting this up and I still can’t figure out how to get all the features programmed on my DX8, I would really very much recommend to make a video sure you would avoid a gazzilion question on this forum..

Side question - anyone knows that this banks is?

Hello,

generally I do not recommend to use all the features. You should decide in which you are interested in and if it is easier for you, just enable one and try it. Then you can try all one by one and find which suits well your needs.

If you have 8 channels available you can just turn one feature in the General/GeoLink/Aid tab. Then go to General/Channels and assign the same feature to a free channel by selecting the feature in the drop down list - for example F: GeoLink Position Hold and Channel 7 or 8.
Then by changing switch position on your radio you should see some activity in the window. So that you can engage the feature at any time.

Unfortunately since each radio is different there can't be any guide that will tell you how to set everything exactly. But we can create few examples that could be helpful.

Hi admin

I think it would help with a couple of videos made with a smartphone or similar.

At least for myself, I think the more feature I can have the more fun it is. I would even be ready to remove my gyro gain to make room for an additional channel if possible, just because those other features seem so great.
