Hi everyone

Does someone help me to understand what I have to change to avoid this kick of the tail in take off? I have the gain at -60% in the spirit, it is an Oxy3 Te, the mechanical limits are perfect, no hum of servants, all set by manual, I was very precise.

I have a flat normal throttle curve on the radio 70 70 70 70 70 , and for now I have the governor excluded in my esc, and the response time at 20 sec on a 60 amp Hw(soft start with governor excluding).

Thanks

Hi,

the problem you are encountering is very likely caused just by incorrectly configured Rudder Center point or just by moving sticks before take off.

Before take off the tail slider should be always approximately at center or little bit closer to the boom. If this is the case then the model will hold immediately from take off.

Hi Tomas
I'm sure the tail has been configured well, I'll put an attachment to make you understand how I configured it. Then they told me who saw the video that I don't have the soft start activated in the esc, and in fact in the HW 60 amp v4 I'm having difficulty activating it, because I excluded the governor, and on linear external governor i have found some thread that this same problem.

How can I resolve? Can I activate a softstart in the spirit?

Thanks

That is great.

At the video there is soft start but RPM is increasing too quickly.
With Spirit Governor you can set Spoolup Rate to Slow for example.

in fact start slowly and then it increases suddenly, in the esc I must perhaps fix better, but the "respons time" is enabled to 20 sec, I am sure! it is the softstart when you use an external governor, in my case I am using linear helicopter throttle, because I use curves on the radio and not the governor.ma is not enabled as softstart,I still don't understand why.

in The spirit where i can set softstart?

Thanks

Soft start is affecting only few first seconds of the spoolup. At the video softstart is working very well so there is nothing you can improve with Soft start.

You have to set slower Spoolup rate. Then it should be good.

I can't understand where and how to set a slower spool up speed. The only value from the manual of my esc HW and on my app (with wifi module)that affects spool up is Start Up Time, see attchment

then there is another item start up force, but that concerns the strength of the engine at the start and that too is low(my value is 3 default)see attchment

This should be configured in the Spirit Governor, not HW ESC.

Ah, now I understand.
Are you sure that Spirit Governor is disabled?
