after i've now tweaked in my Spirit 2 to my needs i've done some additional flights today [on 3.0.0 ] in cold & windy weather (7-8°C). i've checked the Output % (vibration level w/ Spektrum integration) and it is well in the range of 1-6 (-10) almost all the time... but during i.e. tictocs or piroflips i've seen some rare peaks ( one 18 and one with 20). is this something to be worried about or normal? (knowing that Logo 400SE is not the best low vibration bird out there )
btw... initialisation was perfect on rough grass/acre - heli was far from being aligned horizontally! rescue test showed perfect aligned swash before flight. did not test in flight / after flight.

i just did a single flight to test rescue... swash was perfectly level on bench during rescue and the same on the field. after around 2 minutes i tried - (as warned by some posts here) in a secure height which was good: the heli tilted heavily to the right and a bit backwards - so i had to rescue the rescue after flight (directly after blades stopped) i tried again and the swash did a tilt to the right (i would guess not enough for that heavy tilt - but due to very uneven ground and heli far from horizontal it's only a guess)... after a power-cycle this was gone and the swash was level again in rescue. vibration level (telemetry/output%) was just the same as in the flight above you confirmed to be OK...
i did some rescue tests with 2.8.0 and they have showed good result... but of course this was during setup/tuning - no hard flying then.
thx a lot for your kind support... pls find attached the files you asked for. and i added a log of the flight...
the plattform where the Spirit 2 is mounted is '99%' aligned with main shaft, the Spirit is 'perfectly' aligned - one layer of supplied tape to mount it.
(spm4649t is attached on ele/pit/tail + rud as per specs. Hw 80 telemetry on sat1 and additional dsmx sat on sat2.)
I would like to ask you, if you can do the following test:
1) start the model and engage the rescue - swashplate should be level
2) try to move with the model in whatever ways - as much as possible - including upside down.
3) then put the model at the table and engage the rescue again as fast as possible - swashplate should be again perfectly level. Is this the case?
1. perfect level vs main shaft
2. (even my wife & daughter looked scary ) i've hand-flown half a 3d-program with it in the living room...
3. swash again level... just my arms bent a little
i installed 3.0.1 too and did some testing... and as you probably expected: no sensor problem shown - behaviour unchanged. should i retry in flight now or how to continue?
Since we don't know why the previous problem happened to you, I recommend to fly so, that after helicopter powerup, wait at least 20 seconds before flying.
So that after initialization you can wait at least next 14 seconds - with no movement at all.
If everything will be OK, then we know the problem is due to cold temperature and can be resolved very likely easily.
If model is without movement for few seconds automatic calibration is performed which can help.
To make it absolutely safe, I recommend in your case to engage rescue only after landing (as fast as possible). In this way you can check if everything is still OK even after flight.
If the problem will appear after flight, could you wait for a few seconds to observe, if the problem will fix itself without any additional powerup?
