Has some experience mounting the GeoLink on a Tailboom from a Goblin 500, I know that Spirit sells a support, but I think it is to high and Ugley, I have looked at the GeoLink manual, and it says that through the software it can be digitally leveled, then because the support ! ?? By the way, I will try to mount it close to the FBL Unit unther the Canopy, but may they will not receive a good SAT Signal !?

Hi, also I saw this, that's mean it is possible direct on the boom !?
Blade can strike a boom really hard, so Geolink flyes away with a bullet speed. 3M double tape woun't help at all! You'll never found it, even in a low grass.
So, I made my own mount, and I made it really safe:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3953629 - this is for Goblin 380. If you like it - tell me and I'll send you Goblin 500 version.
The last time I had a boomstrike, 3 of 2 nylon ties was broken, but the Geolink was safe!

On my 570 it is directly mounted on the boom and I didn't do a digital level and works GREAT.
I also used the double sided tape and made the mount like the manual shows.
