I am in the process of installing Geolink 2 with my Spirit Pro. Using Sprit 3.4.1. In the General/Geolink/Aid windows, only maximum altitude is available to be configured. No minimum altitude, which is the setting I need to set for enable a hard deck. See attached screen shot. Appreciate any assitance!

Hi larspe,

The setting for minimum altitude for Hard Deck will (according to Tomas) probably return due to requests in one of the following Firmware Updates - the way it is right now is actally how its meant to be - you assign a channel to F:rescue(Auto) and the height at which you engage the function is Set as Hard Deck Altitude. ImO a very elegant and practicable solution...

Greetings

Well - not so fast :-( Rescue (auto) is not available for the Spirit Pro, only GT/GTR. How do I configure so that hard deck is activated (and deactivated)? Thanks!

Oops, musst have overread what Version youre using -

Rescue (Auto) /Hard Deck from the fbl ubit is only supported by gt/gtr since its the first Revision with a built in pressure sensor (=altimeter).
So you can "only" use the geolink function for this (probably wont notice any difference to the pressure sensor Hard Deck..)
See configuration/altitude Limit in the geolink Manual (http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... tude_Limit)

Sorry to Not being of more help, but i havent used a spirit pro so far, only spirit 2 and gt - spirit developer Tomas (Zexx86) will probably have to step in and answer, hes sick this week (See "limited Support" thread in the Support forum, hell surely answer next week :)

All the Best,

The minimum height will be set at the height where you first engage geolink hard deck.

No, this is not needed. You can set it freely so it will be comfortable for you.

That I don't understand
I also noticed min altitude is missing. There is only max altitude. So is min altitude set automatically to height I activate Geofence??
