Hi,
I am using telemetry with a YGE 65 on a Spirit GT what do I configure for the « sensing divider » ?
Got the latest version but number can’t be 21, in the spirit menu it says divide number of poles by 2 and I think it is max 12 that the menu accepts.
Here is the motor specification :
* Motor Setup:
- POLES 42, KV 200. - RATIO 1:1
[SOLVED] Number of poles in telemetry for raw 420 ?
Thanks, i do remember but it still does not enable me to input that value. I migrated a existing configuration from another heli to the GT.10x wrote:From the news section...
Updated Governor:
Support for new Goblin RAW 420.
Sensing Divider has range up to 32.
Here are my 3 config files using windows 3.4.3 and to make sure I re-flashed again 3.4.3 and i am limited to 14 poles using YGE. (I tried using HW and still limited at 14)
Thanks
Added on sep 24th: i tried in the demo mode and still limited to 14.

Hi Thomas,
I understand by not seeing you answer that this make take time to correct.
I have not Maiden this heli yet, can you explain how the pole are used to calculate the speed ? I could at a minimum put 10 poles (around 1/2 of the 21) to start and multiply by 2,1 and get the real speed ?
I don’t know how the pole are used to get the speed reading.
Thanks

Hi Thomas,
Your are showing the Governor menu in your reply.
I am using the « telemetry menu » with YGE where you ask for number of poles and divided by 2.
Is that information in telemetry used to return the RPM ? Or for the other features, I will use the GT feature of logging playback.
I am not using the gov at the moment
Thanks

Ah, this was not clear previously.
Parameter is shared between these windows. You can set the value in Governor menu too.
If the problem was only in the Telemetry window, then please download and install the Spirit Settings 3.4.3 software once again.
I hope all will be fine.

it works now in Telemetry at 21 for Pole/2
I had 3.4.3 downloaded on 2 computers, i did as you said and dowloaded again and it worked. I checked my other computer and it was still blocked at 14, after download it's resolved on this one as well.
Do you have a explanation why the first 3.4.3 download did not work ? Did you change something ? I would like to understand for future changes.
Thanks !
