Hello,
Today while flying my heli I noticed that no geolink functions worked.
When landing, the blue LED was off.
However, Geolink initialized before starting.
At home I plugged the heli back in and looked at the log file.
There was an entry "Main program loop delayed, Geolink connection lost"
Why can that be?
Doesn't the FW 3.4.0 work together with 1.3.0 from Geolink?
I would be very grateful for an answer or a tip.
greeting
Thorsten
Problem with Geolink
Please update to the latest versions. Then all will be fine. Your versions are outdated unfortunately.

Hello ZeXx86,
Thank you for your prompt reply.
I asked Tomas a few days ago if I could use an older version of the software as I wanted to keep the old minimum height setting via software.
Here is his answer:
Hello,
the latest firmware for GeoLink v1 is 1.2.1.
The latest for GeoLink v2 is 1.3.0.
GeoLink v2 was shipped with firmware 1.3.0.
GeoLink firmware has no impact on the behavior of the Altitude Limit.
Version 1.2.0 is very old (for over 2 years).
If you want to downgrade you can do it immediately in the software.
Then it is enough to install older Spirit Settings 3.4.0.
With best regards,
Tomas Jedrzejek

It was not some days ago, but 4 months ago. Now there are few versions in between that were released for both GeoLink and Spirit units.
Also it is possible to define altitude limit height to a certain specific altitude. Please see changelogs for the updates 3.4.1, 3.4.2 and 3.4.3. There were many improvements.
In any case if you want to resolve the problem you described you will need to update to the latest versions.
I highly recommend it for more reasons, including much better precision.

You are welcome.
Yes, there is no difference for V1 in firmware. This firmware is working well for few years already.

Hello,
it shouldn't be due to a receiver voltage.
It could happen if GPS signal was lost.
In the latest GeoLink v2 firmware 1.3.3 there is small correction for this. So there will be Green LED light only in case of a failure such as high electrostatic discharges or damaged modules or whenever there is lost communication between GPS chips (which should not happen normally).
