Hey,

Newly built Goblin RAW 580 on 8S with SpiritGT (FW 3.5.0) with massive vibrations, landing gear is shaking at all RPMs (1450,1650,1750).
Doublechecked all parts, no construction errors, all smooth!

So I started with the Spektrum analyser, put the Heli on the carpet floor, blades off and that`s it:

Because they are all in the range of the tail rotor I started to take the heli apart, one piece after another (tailboom, head,...) and made some measurements, there were all similar. So now the heli is almost naked, but Spektrum Analyser tells me that the problem is still in the range of the tail rotor, that`s why I am very confused now and ask for some help!

Spirit is mounted on the rubber feet, I dont`t know if that is relevant.

I am grateful for every help and suggestion

Thanks,
Tino

Could you please post a pic with the Spirit mounting?

Here is the mounting of the spirit, hopefully the picture is ok, because it is zoomed.

I think a top down pic would be helpful. I'm guessing that something is touching the spirit (maybe the capacitor), a resonance caused by multiple dampeners in the mount (rubber feet, adhesive pad) or the wires are too tight.

In the end, check also if the motor is generating vibrations. I had a motor with bad bearings and it was creating havoc.

ok, thanks - i will post a picture from above in the evening, and check your suggestions.
Regarding the motor vibrations, can I check this by myself in any way?

Thanks,
Tino

Hi,
have had the same. Try to loosen your mainbelt a little bit.
with best regards

I have already tried various tensions, always the same...

There's a bad bearing somewhere or something loose if you say that the vibration is also visible as shaking.

Try to remove pinion from motor so you can measure motor alone.
It seems that your testing RPM is either very high or motor bearing is failing.
Vibrations are quite strange, it seems to be really a bearing.

I think I have found the problem, after mounting the FBL holder without the rubber feet, Spektrum Analysen is good, values on all axes maximum 20-30.
I put the heli together and will make a test flight but I am optimistic that the vibrations are gone :-)

Just wanted to let you know and thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
