Wifi will not connect to laptop

I have Spirit GT with the WiFi modual on 2 of my helis. Both of them connect to my Samsung phone without problem. Yet I can not get either of them to connect to my laptop. I have tried both mine and my wifeys with no luck.
Yes I did make sure to connect to the Spirit WiFi signal. Computer says connected but no internet which is normal, I think.
Is there a setting somewhere on either the Spirit unit or laptop I am missing?

You have to only enter http://192.168.4.1
In some cases it is enough to unplug ethernet cable.
