[SOLVED] geolink failure

Sorted :D

The thing I was doing wrong, (and this is not made clear anywhere) was when to unplug the geolink
I was unplugging it before clicking recovery then plugging back in as soon as I clicked it resulting in the spirit disconnecting every time I tried it
Click recovery THEN unplug geolink and plug back in immediately and everything works fine

Subject to test flying I should now have a functioning geolink and back to worry free flying. It has already paid for itself with the one time it has saved my Logo 600

thank you very much for the details!
I am glad it is working again. But it is strange that the firmware was corrupted actually and this helped.
