Here is from the 450
Just checked settings and ESC programming.Image
Started in idle 1 photo in idle 1Image started In idle3. Then switched to idle1. Photo from idle 1.
Why does the rpm not go to the requested initially. And why is it different when the model is started in idle3 then switched to idle1. As supposed to started in idle 1.when requested rpm is the same.
Bug or am I doing something wrong.

Hello,

this kind of issue is happening if RPM signal is very unstable or if ESC is some mode that is making smoothing.
For example there is some kind of internal spoolup.

Please try to switch ESC to airplane mode or helicopter mode with the fastest response.

Thank you for the tips, but the castle esc is in multirotor mode and align esc is in airplane mode. there is no internal spoolup. if spirit gov is turned off. heli spins up instantly
The rpm signal seems very stable on both.
The problem is 100% reproducible and the governed rpms are the same each time, just wrong.
