Put the settings files from the unit here, we can take a look.

Hello,

if your model is damaged just by engaging some function then there is something seriously wrong. This should never happen with any settings except if model will crash.
Spirit units offer 3 different engaging methods for all Stabilisation modes, all Rescue modes, all GeoLink modes. And all these modes can be combined together.
If you mix some of these and even use Bank Switching together then you can achieve settings which are certainly not good if you do not understand all relations.

The biggest mistake people are doing are to set everything ON and then going to the field to try it. Diagnostic tab will show you what is active. But in any case having it all configured is not good idea for the beginning.

If you are trying something new, then please use only one single function, verify it at the bench before flying. If you are unsure about anything then you do not have to try it in the air. Instead ask here. This will save your money, time and nerves.
I am not sure what do you think, but the behavior you can see is result of what is programmed. There is no mystery or magic. When you will share your settings I can immediately tell what is wrong or not. There are thousands of pilots around the world that are using very same functions.
But first from all please use settings that will not damage your main gear. This should really not happen in normal circumstances, except if you will set full throttle when model is at the bench and your ESC has no support for slow spoolup. Any other scenario will not damage main gear normally. If yes, your motor is positioned incorrectly.

Rescue has the highest priority always but you can activate it together with any GeoLink function and it will still work together. There are people that want for example Return to Home and Rescue at the same time.

Hey man, here you can see what happends!

Is return to home and rescue same paragraph? Do they share same settings?
I only use return ro home, never rescue. I only find tuning options fornthe rescue channel..

GeoLink -> Aid(tab) -> Correction Gains -> Vertical Gain.

Try reducing by 10% at a time until the oscillation stops.

Hello Robert,

it seems that there is really too high Vertical Gain for the model.
If you have not checked model settings yet, you can see this page where this problem is described:
https://manual.spirit-system.com/index. ... al_pumping

Have you tried it without fuselage by chance?
