Very cool,

Hopefully all will be working soon! Interesting how it is such a random occurrence and how the effect of it changes.

Yes, thats because there is very same problem as with failsafe - data synchronization. It is out of synchronization all the time your TX looks like dead.
But for now, it is able to recognize invalid data stream, so I will try to add fix to regain synchronization back.

Ah makes sense.

Test 25: When opening log the Tx lost control of heli and could not be regained until power cycled.

Now it should be exactly as with 1.0.25 + better control mechanism from latest version.

Just tested 26, Still the same issue.

Open a log or save a change and the Tx stops working. However, If you do it enough times, sometimes it will randomly work.

Hmm, now it is not funny :D
There must be some reason why it does not work even when Yak can't reproduce it.
What USB interface driver do you have installed? Is it directly from the software or windows?
Could you test it with phone or other PC?

I used the driver that was installed with the Spirit system.

I don't have the bluetooth unfortunately to test with a phone and only have my Lenovo 14 Flex2 laptop to use. It is a very new lap top, I got it in April and it has the latest i7 4510U mobile chip with windows 8.1.

Maybe Yak can test later and see if he can have the same issue where the Tx stops working after saving or after opening the log?

It is very strange indeed. I am not sure... Fortunately it is not a huge deal as I can still make changes and check the logs without it going crazy and the failsafes all work as they should so I am not too concerned. It is just very interesting why this problem happens.

OK, no problem.
Next FW for testing: http://spirit-system.com/dl/fw/test/spi ... test27.bin

Now it is nearly completely same as 1.0.25 except failsafe (which shouldn't be triggered at all when saving changes or viewing log).
