Ok cool, I will wait for a more indepth response. But it seems that increasing this value is similar to the tail gain, How does the tail gain and the piro consistency differ?

Enjoy the holiday! I'm sure you guys need a break haha

Any update on what to look for if Piro Consistency value is too high?

If piro consistency is high you will get very agressive behavior overall.
It could stop unequal or with overshoot to one side. It will cause problems in fast forward flight - big oscillations in higher angle range and possible tail wag even in the hover.
If you have to set values higher than cca 190 than something could be wrong with a helicopter mechanics.
This parameter should do all the work what revomix does + hold constant piro rate, but without any precompensations.

ok very cool, it sounds like it may be difficult to tell if piro constancy is too high but using this parameter instead of precomps to stop any tail kick on pitch pumps is the preferred method.

I will try to put a tuning guide together for the users on helifreak once I fully understand each parameter and how it will effect/improve flight and how to tell if it is too high of each parameter. Still learning the details though.

Thank you!

That would be great!
It is not so hard how it looks.
For 600+ helicopters it is mostly around 170-185. For smaller it is 155-170.
If you are using Futaba BLS servos, you should always increase it by cca 10-20 + Rudder Delay to 0.

It is very dependent on the model, or rather manufacturer.
For example Align models are very similar across the size with piro consistency (around 165).
Logo helicopters are different in the tail, so there is little bit more needed (180).
Goblin helicopters are somehow between them. And so on.
All in all, piro consistency value is increasing little bit with model size.

Awesome, once I get back flying again this week I'll start working on it. I am running Torq 9188s in my 600 right now. I may try bringing the rudder delay down for those as well.
