Hi,

yes, we think it will be released before Christmas. We are working on it each day and it is closer and closer to the release.
Unfortunately I can't be more specific and I don't want to promise any date.

For now I can just recommend to enjoy flying as is. Then we can all jump in the new era :) I know it is not easy to wait, but this update is particularly important and time consuming for tweaking and testing. Any mistake can lead to a serious damage, so time is needed.

Tomas, and Team,
Congratulations on all the progress you and your team have made on the GPS work so far.
Even though it is hard to wait, I applaud and appreciate the extra time you are taking - especially extensive testing to deliver a quality product with robust features on the first release. I definitely want at least two GPS units when available and ready. Much continued success, I look forward to the first availability of the GPS units with great anticipation, as Spirit Products really rock and work, especially for the price and performance!

We still do not know if it will be available for Spirit units, since there is still work to be finished and all this is being tested on the Pro units since there we are sure it will come.
Once everything will be finished, we will try to make it compatible with all our units. It require a lot of tests since nobody want that one feature will have a negative impact on other.

ok, i want that GPS thing! :mrgreen:

Now i am changing all my Heli´s from BD Axon Systems to Spirit Pro Systems. My planes also. Today i bought 1x Spirit Pro and 2x Spirit Aero. More orders coming soon :lol:

I that you have been asked so many times about release date of GPS unit. But we are really close to December and I wonder if anything has changed or everything is going as planned. Is the release date of December time?

Do you think that continuous asking for the release date
would help to speed up that process ?

yes, we should ask every day 10 times. I think too that it speed up der release. :lol:

Though to be fair dimisx1 only asked politely if all was going to plan for the promised December release date. It's been over a month since any update so i dont think it's so unreasonable.

And no, I dont think anyone thinks that asking more will speed it up, but as we are almost in December I think it will be known with certainty if it will be released 'before Christmas' or not. If not fair enough but it's nice to be kept informed. Bear in mind that the original scheduled release date was May to July, so a little eagerness is understandable.
