rudder end points

when setting the rudder travel on a new model I get a warning that the max limit has been exceded before actually reaching the max travel

Does this matter, or should I still set the max travel and ignore the warning

Correct solution is to change ball linkage distance on the servo arm further from the center.
So the aim is that the warning will not appear at all even when you will reach mechanical limit.

I have it set up as per manufacturers spec but will alter the ball distance as you recommend

I thought at first it might be because I was not using the correct model preset, just the nearest model to it

I have a similar issue while building my first heli.

The manual of my T-Rex 550X recommends setting the neutral position of the rudder servo and rudder channel to about 10mm distance between the tips of the tail rotor blades (when turned 90° upwards and parallel to each other). But when I do this the rudder mechanic does not seem to be centered and is asymmetric. When I try to set the rudder end-points in Spirit I need a value > 170 for one side (and around 120 for the other side).

If I understand the Spirit manual correctly it is better to set the neutral position of the rudder servo to 0° pitch of the blades, so the tips of the tail rotor blades are in one line. If I choose this setting then both end-points remain below 170 (both 150). Is it correct to set the neutral position of the rudder servo to 0° pitch of the tail blades?
