I'm looking at buying the Spirit Pro, GeoLink and Spektrum DX8 G2 radio. The question I have is should I buy the AR8010T Receiver or just the DSMX Remote Receiver (SPM9745) or some other combination? Looking for the cleanest and easiest setup. I was getting confused with looking at the manual and integration cables and what I should be buying. Thanks.

The DX8 does not have enough channels for Spirit and GeoLink, IMO. Think about a 12 or 16 channels radio.

You need just 6 channels for GeoLink, but you are limited with features you can control at time.
12 or 16 channels are the best.

Very good to know. I'll look at the iX 12 or DX 18. Am I correct that for telemetry I need the SPM4649T (SRXL2) regardless of if I have the AR9030T 9CH receiver? I tried looking at the at the manual (http://manual.spirit-system.com/index.p ... trum_SRXL2) but the link is dead.

Hello,

SPM4649T is not SRXL2 receiver. Link is dead because SRXL2 is not supported officially with Spirit units yet. But it will be available within few days.

I see the link is up for SRXL2 now in the manual. Does this mean that I can leverage the DSMX SRXL2 Serial Receiver with Telemetry (4651T) with no other add-on required?

Get a taranis X9D and a iRangeX module or, preferably a jumper t16 pro radio with internal multi protocol module.

They run opentx and work with all receiver brands.
