Hi,

I've just fitted the Spirit Bluetooth to my Trex 600N, it connects ok to my HP Slate 7 HD tablet but there's no SAVE button showing.

I've searched and read the forum posts and found a couple of mentions that others have lost the SAVE button, I think my Android version just doesn't work properly with the app.

It's running Android 4.2.2, all the Spirit screens show and I get the BANKS showing if I slide the screen, when I make changes and try to leave the page it warns me to save but there's just no button anywhere.

So.... I need to buy something that others on the forum know will work, can someone give me some currently available tablets makes and models and I'll treat myself this weekend (my phone is an iPhone so can't run the app on there)

Thanks for any advice on what tablets work and which one's to avoid.

I run the Android app on a Samsung Galaxy S6 and a Nexus 7 (2012 model). Both show a column of 3 tiny squares in the extreme upper right hand corner. It is very hard to press, but when I do it brings up a menu at the bottom of the screen with Manual, Credits, Banks, Save profile to unit, and Settings. The Save... button saves the settings.

Do you even see this column of 3 tiny squares?

btheli,

3 tiny squares.... yes I do have those !
I 've previously tried pressing them but they are tiny and nothing happened but I'm definitely going to give them another session of pressing to check.

You might have saved me spending some money there, a big thanks even if it doesn't work.

Watch this space I'll report back :D

No problem. Here's my screen below. It seriously takes me several tries to successfully press those dots. I have already sent a request to the developer to make this a little easier.

Up early here in UK and just tried getting the tiny button press right and I managed to get it to bring up the menu panel at the bottom. :D

So I'm well pleased and a big thanks to btheli.

It took me about 5 prods in the area of the buttons then up came the menu, I repeated it a few times and it seems to be about 1 in 5 goes I press it in the right place.

A bigger button would be a benefit.

Generally any Android based phone or tablet should work well. So you do not have to buy something better.

Working now that I realised that the buttons to press were actually the 'micro dots' on the screen

A magnifying glass is needed.... maybe you can make the button bigger
