Can we get a confirmation on whether or not the Spektrum SRXL works. It would be nice to use less cables and possibly make room for future governor functions.
Also, my current ESC does not provide RPM data but I do have a phase sensor from hobbywing will this work with the gov?

Ok, SRXL on a Spektrum RX does not work with the Spirit.
We are working on the support.
I hope it will be working with next update.

I want to set up the Spirit with my AR 9020, using SRXL and the governer function, but I'm confused: The manual (Section 4.8) says
"... an additional power supply cable should be connected to the AUX port. When using this type of receiver you can connect the throttle cable directly to the receiver. Alternatively, you can assign the throttle channel in the software and use the AUX as throttle output from the unit."
Question: If I use the AUX port for additional power from the RX, how do I wire the throttle directly from the Spirit to get the governer function?
Also, should I assume that SRXL is now supported and working with Spektrum receivers? There haven't been any replies to this thread in a while...

If using governor you have to assign Throttle output in the unit and always connect ESC to AUX port.
Satellites are connected to Spektrum receiver so there is just single line digital connection with the unit as with Futaba, Jeti or other brands.

Thank you. I understand the single line connection with the unit. I also will be connecting satellites directly with the RX, no problem there.ZeXx86 wrote:If using governor you have to assign Throttle output in the unit and always connect ESC to AUX port.

I still do not know where to connect the "additional power" supply line as described in the manual. That was my question. If the AUX port is used for throttle, where can I put the additional power cable? It seems like there is no other port available. Maybe I can make a special cable where the signal wire (single wire) goes to the ESC for throttle, and the Positive and Negative wires go back to the RX for power? Will this work?
Yes, it will work fine.
In case that your ESC has no internal BEC, then you have to use either Y cable (for example this: http://www.conrad.com/ce/de/product/208 ... bel-050-mm)
or you can modify your Throttle connector so it can have BEC cable embedded into one connector along with the throttle.
