[SOLVED] Yge 160 rpm lead

I'm new to YGE and just want to make sure before I plug it in to the ele/pit/ail port...The RPM out from the ESC is the red wire on the YGE 160 hv v4, right?

Yes,

according to YGE manual RED wire is RPM output.

Ok, great! I bought the ESC used and it came with the Mikado governor adapter...

After moving the red wire to the center position, should I disconnect the black lead before connecting to the Spirit? Looks like it's the ground lead from the ESC program side so there shouldn't be any power but want to make sure there is no interference with the Spirit reading the RPM with that lead connected.

Ground wire shouldn't be a problem but I recommend to disconnect it just to be sure.
