Hi!

Please tell me the spirit servo pwm signal voltage!

(my friend has a YEP esc, and it shuts down mid air now we think because of the input signal voltage is to low, he is using it from ar6210 receiver, which i think has 3,5V signal voltage.)

Thank you!

Hi,

that is very sad.
PWM signal voltage is not a problem as it is used just for communication between processors. It is mostly stabilized 3.3V. So even your ESC will send 8V to the receiver, signal will be always in correct voltage level. So basically you can't change this voltage even if you want.

ESC has nothing to do with it, as the voltage is always regulated to required value. The problem is, when BEC can't handle load (servos). In case of YGE/YEP BEC will go down to protect itself.
So in case it will hapen, then everything will be OFF including receiver, unit and servos. This is the reason why our unit has BEC tester so you can test your BEC before the flight.
The problem can occur, when you are using power hungry servos but BEC is not prepared for this load.

I know what you mean, but its not the case.

it is a 120A HV, without BEC. servos running from 2S lipo, and it shuts off sometimes on the ground without blades (no load).

When this problem came to surface, YGE was fixed it by adding a signal booster cable with their ESC-s. which boosted the standard 3.3v pwm signal to 5V, and that fixed the problem completely. And i wanted to know the spirit signal voltage, because he wants to buy spirit, and we needed to know if we would need the booster cabe, or spirit alredy putting out 5V pwm signal so dont need a booster to some YEP/YGE ESC-s.

Our FBL system has no problem with AR6210, so you will do not need any booster.
