2nd Attempt at test flight - still governor issues

In case you do not know something or you are not sure, here is the right place for your question.

Thanks
Hope I can sort it as I really don't want to go down the route of using a separate governor.
I am impressed by the units resilience to vibration though.
This 105 engine has been right up to its maximum RPM during this testing and the vibration has been so low.

Hello,

you can see the Requested and Current RPM with the android app and smartphone.
You should check if the Requested is equal to the Current, if so then it should be good.

Apple iPhone 6 only I'm afraid so unable to use this.
Any plans for an app for this?

I have the same problem as the guy from this topic but my Requested is NOT equal to the Current BUT before the update everything works fine now I only have one rpm and that is 100% flat I think

Make sure that your Min and Max values are configured properly, else it is possible that the governor is not able to reach requested RPM, because it is limited.

After update you have to redo governor settings, since there are a lot of changes. Especially reconfiguring Max., Governor Response and Holding performance is needed. And the most importantly you have to re-enable your Governor with the tick in the Governor window.

Max rpm setting is on 3400t/min But maybe that must be the max possible rpm ? That's 3950tmin maybe is that the problem ?

I have 3400 as max setting and at throtle curve 50%, 60% and 80% flat it goes to 3950t/min

I mean "Max." parameter may be the problem, because this is what is limiting the upper limit of the throttle.
If it is configured incorrectly, your throttle can't reach high enough value, so the motor can't never reach requested RPM.

Your Max. Head speed shouldn't be a problem.

Yes but over reach the max value

The max value is 3400 and it goes to 3950 ? Checked with rpm meter

Ah, so you can see that Requested RPM is higher than the Current RPM.

For me it is the other way around.
