Hi Tomáš,
I am upgrading from 1.3.2 on my Blade 450X (but basically redoing the whole setup).
I have a problem with pitch.
The heli has the Spirit installed as Horizontal (0) and has a CCPM 120 (reversed) swashplate (the elevator servo is in front). It is a trailing edge control so swash down for positive pitch.
Following the manual, I removed some TX servo reverses I had, so to achieve the same movement in the Diagnostic screen as in the "real life stick movements". Played with entry points to get the correct limits.
Now... everything works correctly (both stick commanded and compensations), but... the blades go negative when I give positive, and viceversa.
If I just reverse the pitch in the TX, the blades perform correctly, but Rescue will go negative.
I also tried to Reverse all three servos in the Spirit software, that was fixing the collective but screwing up the cyclic.
What I am doing wrong?
Reverse pitch and upgrading to 2.0.0
Maybe there is an Option missing for leading/trailing edge control.
The programmer tried to make the Setup bullet proof, but maybe he missed the leading/trailing edge issue. Or there is something you and me didn't found in the setup. I didn't upgrade to 2.0.0 until now, so I havent searched for such a setting yet. Additionally all my helicopters are leading edge controlled.
regards Wolfgang

set it so it all operates normally, when you have the tx pitch reversed, and the on the stabi page change the rescue collective pitch from a positive to a negative value and will reverse the pitch on rescue.

This problem is specific to 2.0.0
You can't set the Rescue pitch to negative anymore.

If it helps I have just upgraded my logo 400se this is trailing edge and to get the pitch to work in the correct direction I have had to use 120 deg reversed instead of 120 deg , the ele servo is at the rear the opposite to the 450x. All control surfaces now respond in the correct direction and rescue is positive .Just need to test fly
I trust you, but that does not make much sense... how can that change effect pitch??AddictedUK wrote:Ive just found that doing my logo 400se.Coco66 wrote:That worked up to 1.3.2AddictedUK wrote:set it so it all operates normally, when you have the tx pitch reversed, and the on the stabi page change the rescue collective pitch from a positive to a negative value and will reverse the pitch on rescue.

Please double check input AND compensations before you fly!!

I know it does not make complete sense, I have checked and checked again the compensations and they are all correct. All the stick inputs are correct as well. I suppose you are tricking the fbl into thinking it is doing the the opposite to what it is but at the same time as it is trailing edge control it is doing it correctly . At the end of the day you are just putting a double reverse in , chan 1 and 3 reversed and switched so down is up but up is also up and the elevator, chan 2 is single reversed. And reading that back it probably makes no sense to anyone but myself. I will try and test fly it tomorrow.

Hello,
you are right, there is no support for trailing edge rotor heads in the 2.0.0 right now.
But we are working on the support and I will contact you and send you solution so you can fly immediately
Sorry for the troubles.

Thanks, I'll be happy to test it )))))))ZeXx86 wrote:Hello,

Test flight was a complete success, straight up with no adjustments or issues and the bailout works as it should. So even if the way I have managed to work around the trailing edge issues isn't strictly the correct way it does work with no issues.
