Hi,

I just started the update to fw 2.0 on my mac.
After 25% of the processes the upload process stops and the red light of the Spirit turned off and nothing happens since than.
After a few minutes the Spirit software stopped working and was closed by the operating system.

Current status is:
I cannot reconnect to the Spirit or start the unit.

Any options to recover the system?

if not how can I send it to you and if this part of any guarantee?
I purchased the unit last year.

(Now I have concerns to update my Spirit pro...)

Thanks for your help
Guido

This might help, as it was also about failed update.

I suggest you reinstall the drivers. On Mac it can happen that they get rewritten by system updates. You can get the URL from the manual.

Then... does the LED on your unit blinks at least for a short time when you connect the battery?

If YES, you can use the Recovery mode:
1. Start the software and then press No when prompted to Demo mode.
2. Select the firmware in the Update tab and press the flash button (you should see Recovery mode label immediately).
3. Connect the battery to your model (with USB interface connected). Then you should see a new flashing progress.

Otherwise, wait for Tomáš to chime in.

Hi,

thank you very much.
I was successful with the Recovery Mode option and was able to upload the firmware :-)

I used a Windows 10 computer for it.

Is there any method to verify that the right driver is installed on my Mac?

My challenge is that I'm using a computer only for updates and initial setups. On the field I'm using my Jeti transmitter.

Again, thanks
Guido
