Using Governor with Castle Edge 160HV
I thought that I had everything set for governor. I can see the desired rpm's for idle ups 1 & 2 in the governor tab. I cannot get the ESC to arm. I am familiar with setting the endpoints to arm the ESC but even if I go to maximum (150) on my DX-9, I can't get them to arm. I set the ESC to helicopter mode and fixed endpoints mode. Could someone help to get this resolved?
You need to first change your TX end points to have the Diagnostic screen read 0 to 100 (with Spirit Governor disabled).
Then set the ESC to fixed end points, activate the Spirit Governor, and use the Spirit Min / Max to calibrate the ESC.
Use 2.0.0 firmware and software!

I assume you wanna useSpirit Gov and not ESC Gov. So in Castle Link you need to select for vehicle type External Governor.
External Governor (from Castle Link Help)
External Governor is used when an external electronic system is being used to control the ESC throttle input in an attempt to maintain a specific RPM. From a stopped position, output power will slowly advance limited by 'Spool-Up Speed'. Once a steady rpm to throttle condition is detected, the ESC will give complete throttle control to the external system.......

If you don't want use Autorotation Bailout, just don't add the mixer part in your Transmitter (TX)
All the rest as described.
Let me know if you have any question with one of the steps, please reply direct on this topic (new reply), to keep things together.
