lleston2: the bars in diagnostic tab must always follow the stick movements. If no, then it is wrong.
It is important to not try any other combination, only proceed as described in the wizard.
All your servos should react to the stick commands correctly as well. If no, then you only have to use Servo Reverses in the software.
But if you select for example wrong Position or Swashplate, you may never get correct servo movement.

HI Z and BTHELI,
I have done everything as per the wizard. Swashplate is 120, mounting orientation is Horizontal 0. I didn't invert the aileron in the transmitter but I had to do it if I one the aileron in the diagnostics tab to follow what I do with the stick.
If I plug Pitch in 1, and Aileron in 3 in the unit, then the swashplate doesn't move as it should. I mean Aileron is not aileron, Pitch is not pitch and Elevator is not elevator. It doesn't matter if I get the bars moving perfectly right in the diagnostics tab. The behavior of the cyclic servos will have nothing to do with what I do with the sticks.
Please see attachments. I can't post a movie taken from my phone showing the no compensation thing. Can you provide an e-mail address?

Orientation of the unit looks right to me.
In your Tx servo screen I see you have servos 1, 2 and 3 reversed. Why are these reversed? As Zex said, you only want to reverse servos in the Tx to get the bars in the diagnostic screen moving in the right direction (and correspond to the correct sticks/inputs of course). Once that is done, you should not reverse anything in the transmitter again.
I'm starting to suspect that perhaps something in the Taranis is not set up correctly. I use a different channel order than you do, but the Taranis is so flexible that you can map any input (stick, switch, etc.) to any output channel you want. I just found that using the standard Futaba ordering kept it more straightforward for me. The order on my Tx is:
1. Aileron
2. Elevator
3. Throttle
4. Rudder
5. Aux (Tail gain)
6. Pitch
7. Aux (Banks)
I'm telling you all this because I'd like to offer to send you my .eepe file and have you look at it and try it out. I'm thinking you might be able to see something you have wrong in the Tx by looking at mine.
If you don't discover the problem after looking at and trying my .eepe file, I'd be happy to get on the phone with you and we can just walk through the setup, each with our heli's right in front of us and the Spirit software up and running. Email is fine too, but it will just take a lot longer. Either way is fine with me. Let me know what you want to do.

Hi btheli,
I changed the direction of elevator, collective and pitch to get the bars movements right in the diagnostics tab of the wizard. I did it in the diagnostics step to get the bars right with the sticks.
I will be very nice if you can send me the .eepe file.
How can we get in contact to talk?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi BT,
I have to reset the unit to factory settings. After that, followed the same layout of channels proposed by the wizard in the swash plate diagram. The one proposed for the S-BUS receiver didn't work.
I also changed my Taranis mixes to match the Futaba channel order:
Aileron
Elevator
Throttle
Rudder
Gain
Collective
I didn't have to change the channels in the layout of the diagnostics tab. The channels came perfectly matched, except that I have to invert collective and elevator in the transmitter and then CH1, CH3 and Ch4 in the unit software.
After that, the compensation started working perfectly.
I am still working in setting up the the rest.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Everybody,
There has been some time since my last post to this thread.
I just want to add that thanks to the good and uninterested help of BTHELI, I finally got to successfully configure the Spirit Pro together with the Fr-Sky X4R S-Bus receiver and even setting up the governor of this unit.
The reason I decided to purchase the Spirit Pro unit was that it has the stabilization and rescue features for a price that other units offer for a much higher price. I am very satisfied with the unit so far. Before having it installed in my Align 450L, I wasn't able of inverted flying. Since I installed it and using the stabilization (Acro) mode I am doing all sorts of stuff that I was only able to do with the fly simulator... Kudos for your nice work and please help us in getting the IOS app so we can do last minute tuning at the field.
Once again, thanks a lot to BETHELI for all of your help! and thanks to Spirit for your nice work!
