I'm looking to improve pitch response around mid stick, for stops and such. I don't need more maximum pitch.

Can you tell me if the "Pitch Pump booster" is the right setting?
Does it increase overall pitch, or is it non-linear? How does it work and what should I expect?

The behavior is non-linear and depends on the speed/acceleration of the collective movement.
It will not change your overall pitch. This mean that if you are moving really slowly with the stick, pitch will correspond as when it is disabled.

The parameter is described in the manual and in the software as well, maybe it will clarify it even more.

Thank you.

Manual has: "To achieve flybar-like collective pitch behavior, you can increase the value until desired feeling is achieved. Remember that higher values are too demanding for power supply and servos on the model."

Given I've never flown flybar, um, I'm not sure what to make of it. Hence why asking.

I think I understand tho. If I jab the stick fast, I'll get more of my available pitch more quickly? If I move smoothly, it'll be the same as if there's no pitch boost at all?

Yes, you are right. If you will start with the value of 1, it will be good to test it in the flight.
