imbossible to get constant piruettes

Hi.

I fly a Voodoo 400 with a Hightec 8315BH tail servo.

I am not able to get a good and precise working tail and I also do not get constant piruettes. I tried many different variations of the tail settings and yesterday evening I noticed (like a flash to my brain) that I maybe set the wrong frequency for my tail servo. This can handle up to 560Hz. I can set a value of max 333Hz in the servo tab.
I did not try to set the right value now because of missing time but I think I still have 50Hz set in the spirit application, which should be default I believe.

Do you think this can fix my tail problems?
Should I set the max available frequency in the spirit app of 333Hz?
Will you support higher frequency in the near future?
How important is the right frequency for tail performance?

560hz are supported but you need to reduce the frame rate to 720ms I think in the servo configuration. Best if you post a couple of pics of your servo and the servo setup screen from the setup software

Hi,

our unit support 560Hz from the beginning. So you can set the frequency you wish.

For a proper operation correct frequency is VERY important. This is very basic parameter that must be configured properly.
With a lower frequencies you are making your servo noticeably slower so it will work similarly as an analog servos.

But there are also other parameters that you should be configured correctly (at least all that are in the setup wizard).
If setup is not done carefully, the performance can be unfortunately very noticeably worsened.
