Tomas,
There is a pilot, Hugo, that flies the velos 880 with spirit. Very talented guy. Would it be possible to share his file to help solve this problem?
Thanks.

I asked Hugo to share his config. He told me that he is not very happy with his initial tail configuration.

He is willing to share it after he optimized his config.
That was 2 months ago and with the 2blade tail.
I will ask him about his progress.

I hope someone can suggest something else to try.

My tail oscillation on hovering is gone. After installing a new 3blade tail rotos. Thanks to Aris from Velos.
Very nice Service!

Thank you for letting us know!

Regarding gyro gain, it is quite strange how it is low. For such big helicopter it should be at least 60% and rudder common gain around 1,3x.
Because of this, you can try to make servo arm shorter, this could improve performance and your gyro gain can go higher as well.

I have a gyro gain of 90% without any problems.

I moved in the servo arm 1mm. I have the transmitter gyro gain set to 50%, in hover, solid as a rock. Ran out of daylight so that is as far as I will get today. Going on vacation for a week so I will have to be patient to try forward flight. I'm encouraged though.
