Futaba receiver question--noob

Am using my first separate receiver (only RTF's before)--with Spirit Pro.
Have Futaba R7008SB with new radio.
I know that S-Bus (ch.8) from receiver goes to RUD on Spirit.

Will receiver get power back thru Sbus from Spirit, or does ESC always need to be plugged into receiver (besides back-up slave feeds, etc. from ESC that can plug into Spirit)?
Plan to use ESC gov or throttle control.

Yep, sbus cable carries power, and enough to supply the rx with what it needs. The servos are the amp hogs, so send your power (2 if at all possible) into the Spirit.
