Hi,

with Jeti there are two way how to switch banks.

In the integration menu in the Banks or by transmitter.

Once you enter integration menu, you can't switch banks by a switch. You can switch it only through integration menu similarly as with PC software.
To enable bank switching by a switch, you have to click Bank Switching via Tx - then you will also leave integration menu.

So when integration menu was opened, you have to always leave it by mentioned option - this is identical as when you close the PC software.

if "bank switching via TX" is activated and i reenter the bank switch menu, should the value for "active bank" change when i switch the bank via transmitter?

No.
If you will be in the integration menu again, you can't change banks by switch, only through the Banks menu.
After selecting Bank Switching via TX, it should leave the menu completely so it will return to the Device Explorer list, then you can change the banks by a switch.
