strange governor action after 2.1 upgrade

In case you do not know something or you are not sure, here is the right place for your question.

I upgraded my spirit pro on my velos. The upgrade was fine. When I went to take off in N which is set to be governed at 1650, the rpms went up very high. I switched on throttle hold and then let the esc's ramp up again. This time the governor "kicked in" and held rpm as it had before. I checked IU1 and IU2 with a tach and everything seemed governed. The next flight the same thing happened.
Any ideas what is going on here?
Thanks.

This happened on my x3 after the update to 2.1.0.govened for around 3000rpm at 80%throttle.when i had first flight after update it had to have been close to 100%.will be keen to hear what the problem might be.

You have to decrease governor gains. If updating to 2.1 governor gains should be configured again as stated in the Changelog else the reactions might be too strong.

Sorry for not understanding Tomas, when you say governor gains, do you mean readjust governor response and holding performance? Not sure what "Changelog" is?

Yes, exactly.

Changelog is list of changes that were made from previous to the latest version.
You can find it in the News section here in each announcement or in the software in the News window.

With governor response at 2 and holding at 1, it is still happening. I have 2 machines and it occurs on both. I am concerned about revving an 850 sized helicopter over 2200rpm.

Could you please share your settings?

It looks like something is not matching - I suspect that throttle range in the ESC might not match with throttle range in the transmitter or similar issue.
Was spoolup rate correct or faster?

Thank you for the settings.

Can you tell me what % number you can see in the Diagnostic tab for Throttle when throttle hold is engaged?
