Hi, Just fitted Spirit Pro to my 700N, all good but I cannot get the throttle servo to work, throttle looks ok on the diagnostics tab, channel 1 is assigned for the throttle.
I am using the Align Gov, but to make sure I disconnected servo from gov & connected servo direct to aux 1 but still no output to servo.
Spirit is set up as Spectrum/DSMX, any ideas, probably I have missed something quite simple.

"Also just tried the throttle servo in another port on the Spirit to prove servo is ok, servo is ok, but plugged another servo into Aux1 & Aux2 but still no output whatsoever to servo (you can turn servo by hand)"

Thanks
Pete

Hi,

normally the servo output is active only when signal from receiver (satellite) is present.

So the only moment when servo should be unresponsive is when transmitter is off from the beginning.
Is servo 1520us type?

Hi,

I have the Spirit Pro with 2 x DSMX satellites, with the TX both satellite lights are steady on, yes the the servo is 1520us type, (Align DS610)

Do you need a copy of my setup file, (just to make sure I havent done something really stupid)

Thanks

I think I may know what the problem is, The Align Governor needs a signal wire for remote rpm control from the TX, where do I connect this ?

Put it on ch0. With the latest FW you can map in the software a channel to be output on that port so you can control it by a knob or switch in your TX just like a regular receiver

Hi,

Many thanks that has done the trick, it may also have been finger trouble on my part as when I bound the RX I did the bind through the DSMX port, I have a JR DSX9 which does support DSMX but it is really DSM2.
Sorry another dumb question but how do I work out which channel on my radio does the Spirit channel 0 relate to.

My oops sorry, for some reason the I was till using the older software (2.0.1), deleted the old version & re-installed the newer V2.1, lots of really good changes here.
Hopefully have a fly tomorrow, no chance today as its pouring down.

Thanks

I already have a Spirit Pro on my JR Forza 700, and it works just great on this heli, however this is electric & not nitro like the Trex.

Thanks
You can assign whichever you want ;)
