all went wrong then I started medling. I need step by step instructions for Dx8 Ive tried online manual and does not work as I have it
I want bank 0stabilize 1 coaxial 2resque but on the elev d/r switch and resque on the trainer button. I had stab and resue before without bank switching now all in gone.

when you are updating from version 2.0 to 2.1 it should work all out of the box.
If you are updating from version 1 then you have to re-do all the basic settings. The best is to start the Setup Wizard and do everything again, especially Position, Swashplate type, Subtrims, Servo reverses.
There are many changes in the firmware so without doing new configuration, it will not fly well (including wrong rescue).
So the question is, from which version you are updating?
Then we will see where to start.
Good, so you were flying with 2.0 previously and everything worked?
If yes, then you only have to update the firmware and software. After this update you do not have to reconfigure Rescue/Stabilisation at all.
When Rescue or Stabilisation is activated, you should see "HF" in the Diagnostic tab. Normally there is "HL" when these modes are not active.
By this you can always verify, if your transmitter configuration is correct.
Gyro gain should be approximately same for the Rescue/Stabilisation as for normal flying.
All is set up on nitro 600 except to get any possible + pitch in software I have to have % slider all the way to the left, and still only gives 2% = pitch.
In the software/Diagnostic collective pitch bar should go up and down. It is in this way from version 2.
Did you changed Channel mapping in any way in the software?
Maybe you have configured some mixing in your transmitter that changes collective pitch - this is wrong and is not rescue. So I recommend to disable all mixes in your transmitter now.
