I installed a Spirit Pro on a Synergy 766 helicopter. I am trying to optimize the Spirit gain values. This is my mechanical and electronic setup:
Helicopter: Synergy 766 airframe
Total flying weight with batteries: 14.48 lbs. (6,570g)
Blades: Rail 806mm mains, and Rail 116mm tail
Head to tail ratio: 1:5.1
Kontronik governed head speeds: 80% = 1,750rpm, 74% = 1,600rpm, 69% = 1,500rpm
Cyclic servos: MKS HBL599 http://www.mksservosusa.com/product.php?productid=196&cat=27&page=1
Tail servo: MKS HBL880 http://www.mksservosusa.com/product.php?productid=131&cat=24&page=1
Kontronik BEC set to 7.9V
Collective Pitch range set to "125" = 12.6°/-12.5°
Cyclic range set to "130"
Transmitter: Jeti DS-16
Receiver: Jeti REX7
I would like to learn the optimal numbers to enter into the Spirit:
1) Cyclic Gain
2) Rudder Gain (In transmitter)
3) Rudder Common Gain
4) Elevator Filter
5) Cyclic Feed Forward
6) Rudder Delay
7) Rudder Dynamic
8) Pirouette Consistency
9) Stick Deadband
Optimal Spirit Pro parameter adjustments for Synergy 806?

Hello,
here are the values that should work well
1) Cyclic Gain: 60-70%, usually 64% is good on nearly any heli.
2) Rudder Gain (In transmitter): must be determined in the flight (increase until fast forward flight or pitch pump oscillation will occur)
3) Rudder Common Gain: without a change
4) Elevator Filter: 3-4 (if you can observe bounce back on the elevator during hard maneuvers, increase)
5) Cyclic Feed Forward: this is rather preference matter, usually 4-8
6) Rudder Delay: without a change
7) Rudder Dynamic: preference, default is working usually well.
8) Pirouette Consistency: 180 - 195 (if rudder is not holding even that there are oscillations due to high gyro gain, increase the value)
9) Stick Deadband: 4 - 15 will work well. With lower value, deadband will be smaller.
If you want to make collective pitch exactly equal on both directions, you can use Servo Travel Correction in the Servo tab, where by decreasing value for positive col. for all 3 servos will do the job.
