I was installing 2.3 and used the default tdr2 in the wizard. When I was setting the geometry, the tdr2 default was 120 which was too low. The pitch and elevator servo stopped moving. I left the power on the spirit pro and disconnected the wizard. Only the aileron and tail servo would respond to the transmitter movement. When I maidened the ship last fall I crashed, I think the same thing may have occurred. I am using satellites with DX9 and wasn't in fail-safe.
When I repowered the spirit pro, it was totally normal and I went back into the program and reset geometry without a problem.
Any thoughts, I am afraid to put her up in the air again?

That is very sad. Unfortunately it looks like a power issue - when servo(s) are doing a fast movement, it will stop operating.
Geometry should be not related with the issue at all, but when you activate it, only two aileron servos should move - this is normal. This mode is never activated in the flight - only for setting purposes.
Did you tried BEC tester? For this model I do not recommend using satellites, instead full range receiver - for example AR7700 with SRXL connection. This is safer solution also in term of better signal quality.

Ah. Whatever happened, it is very wrong and never should occur.
But there is probably no other reason it can explain.
LiPo batteries and cables can also carry limited current and there always can be for example weared cable inside the insulation. For example bigger part of servo connectors are able to carry only 3A current for prolonged time, while 5A in peak.
So even one very strong servo can eat everything in some bad case. In so big models the currents can reach extreme values, especially with the latest HV servos.
But there is probably no other reason it can explain.
