ESC Telemetry

Thanks, this is not what I'd expected, I thought the ELE port was used.
I put mine in the frame of my 450L so this port is not accessible.
Don't worry, I'll find a workaround.

Hello,
no, for CC it is different. CC is transmitting all the data by the throttle signal. So there will be no additional cable.
For CC there is only small modification required (adding 10kOhm pull up resistor).
It will be supported by all Spirit units.

Now we have also full support for Scorpion Tribunus
Guys from Scorpion are very nice.

Does this mean that all telemetry at isn't Castle Creations is going to use the spektrum port on the side? What happens if you are using spektrum RXs?
I would have figured you would use the ELE signal wire because PIT is used for RPM sensor and AIL is used for Jeti. Maybe the GPIO attached to ELE can't get the data for some reason.
Also, does the telemetry tax the non-pro hardware? On the brain, they couldn't add the telemetry until they upgraded to the brain2 hardware and I would like to know how much CPU is left over in the original spirit.
The reason I ask is because I'm debating on buying a spirit or spirit pro for my next project, and the spirit is cheaper, and if the extra CPU isn't needed then no reason to buy the pro as I don't need the ports because I'm not using spektrum. I abandoned that mess long ago.
Flying season is soon, are we looking at a few months or weeks for this release? I know that you can't give specific dates, but it looks like it's close.
Thanks,
schu
