Hallo,
made today the Maiden flight with my HD500 which is equipped with the Spirit Pro. Have problems with the tail, that this turns in pitch pumps 15 degrees away.
I tried to fix the problem with Revomix and increased it to 8. sometimes it was better, but not everytime. In turns my tail oscillates, i decreased the gain and my tail turns away like the beginning.
My Headspeed is 1850/2050/2350.
My Gain is 80/63/55.
My Rudderservo is the Graupner HBS 880.
Here are my settings:

Any ideas what i can do?
Problem with Tail
Hello,
please set Revomix to 0 first.
Then increase Pirouette Consistency to 175.
This should improve or at least fix the problem.
I recommend to use Revomix as the last possibility. It should be needed only with slow servos. Usually only good value of Pirouette Consistency, Rudder Delay is needed.
Of course Gyro gain should be always as high as possible with no apparent oscillations.

You are welcome.
If it will be still not enough, you can increase the value even more.
Value of 190 is the maximum I recommend.

Do you have any counter torque on the tail in neutral rudder? If not try adding a few degrees.
Thank you for the details. Your servo is fast enough.
If tail is still not holding, can you tell what collective pitch you are using?
Also what main blades you have?
In some cases, when pitch is too high, the helicopter is mechanically unable to compensate it. The same apply if the blades are not FBL or are too agressive. So that they consume whole power of the motor and head speed will drop so much, that tail will loose required counter-force.
So it is important to have stable RPM as well. Maybe the problem is just here.
Do you use Governor? Do you hear some head speed drops?
