How to set up fast spool up/autorotation bale out.

Still trying to set up my Spirit Pro and Scorpion Tribunus ESC and have issues with throttle hold setup.

I wanted to use the Governor on the Spirit unit but seem to be having a problem setting up throttle hold with a fast spool up when hold is switched back to normal.

The Scorpion ESC's autorotation bale out works OK with throttle hold set above zero to about 20% as per the instructions.

Can you please advise as to what I'm doing wrong to get this to work correctly?
Thanks.

If you want to use autorotation bailout, then throttle value should never go under 12% (for example when throttle hold is engaged), otherwise the spoolup will be normal.
You can set autorotation switch that will increase TC to e.g. 12% (for example by using mix that is active only for throttle hold).

Yes,I did look at the manual earlier.

Motor is obviously off at 0% but it restarts as soon as the value reaches 3%.
So only a window from between 0 and 2% in the transmitter where the motor is off.

No fast spool up with this.

Are you not confusing the ESC autorotation bailout setup with the Spirit autorotation bailout setup?

That is correct, but you still have to have TC above 12% otherwise bailout will not work.

Maybe, all I have been attempting to do is to get the Spirit governor working with a fast auto spool up.
There was no plan originally to use Scorpion governor and only setup the basic required for it.
Maybe I have been wrongly even looking at the auto bail out set up for this.

So ignoring the ESC setup and going with the Spirit my issue is that in throttle hold the motor is off at 0% but on again when the value is increased to 3%.

This is where I'm confused.

Can't get throttle hold above 3% in the TX or the motor does not stop.0% motor is off - 3% motor is on.

That is not a problem, if there is a slight motor rotation for autorotation, it will be OK.
If you want that motor is not spinning at all during autorotation, you have to proceed according these steps:
