Hi there, I bought my second Spirit Pro and need to register it. I see that the latest version is now 2.4.3. My first is running fine and the currently installed version is 2.4.1.
How do I go about the registration process and will it result in me having to go through a firmware update on my first bought gyro, too?

You do not have to register anything.
Only download firmware 2.4.3 from our web pages and in the software go to the Update tab and select the firmware.
After pressing the Flash button it should by flashed and that is all.

Just remember that firmware and PC software go together... if you upgrade your PC software you will most probably have to upgrade your other Spirit too... but it's a matter of a minute.

I had problems initially that my #1 unit wasn't detected. A few tries later it was the old USB cable having bad connections. Using the new cable from unit #2 gave no problems. Software and both units' firmware updated.
Great product, but maybe a more robust USB plug would help. It's taken only a short time for this failure to happen.

Can you please check the 3 wires that are on the USB interface? I guess that the problem is there. We can of course fix it if you can send it to us.

Thanks for the kind offer but I can have a look at it myself if needs be. I have a second (new) one now after buying another of your great Spirit Pro gyros
