I just built my Goblin 700 Black Thunder and installed the Spirit Pro I
was wondering if anyone has any starting numbers on tail Gyro and for
the rudder common gain . Head speeds are 1700, 1870, 2180 RPM s
I would also like to use a separate switch For bailout instead of the gyro gain .
I would like 3 separate tail gyro settings for the 3 rpm settings. I’m using a
Spektrum DX9 transmitter.
Goblin 700 need some numbers
Hello,
you can start with 50% Gyro Gain and 1.3x Rudder Common Gain for all head speeds.
Unfortunately each rudder servo is working differently so using a gains from other pilot may not work well.
But 50% it is good for the beginning.
Then you can lift off, check how it is holding and then eventually increase after landing.
If you are using Goblin 700 preset it could work well from the beginning. Only gyro gain could be needed to adjust.
