The module itself require still more tuning to obtain the best signal and so we are cooperating with manufacturer of the chip. It takes a lot of time, since it is over two continents. After that operation we believe we will be able to supply more testing pilots with the modules. Great is that the module itself can be updated so firmware everywhere can be enhanced over time.
Great to hear that the hardware is perfecting... Since as we know there were couple of similar products which didn't seem to be very successful. Difficult setup, sensitive to vibration, not allowing acrobatic movement or too expensive.
Right now the hardware is basically ready and is tuned well. I can also reveal that it is not sensitive to any kind of vibration, can be used with any flight style and can work out of the box with no configuration required. With configuration you can simply enable features you wish to use.

This is excellent news Tomas, thanks for the update and looking forward to more soon.

Truly awesome news Tomas and Team! Thanks for sharing the information you can share at this time, exciting times for all, this new GPS will be a game changer for many! Congratulations on all your many successes so far, as well as the new GPS, with all of it's configurable features I am sure will be one of the most sought after units ever! Keep up the great work, it is so very very much appreciated! Thanks, Dave
I'm curious on how it will connect to the Spirit. Will we need to sacrifice ESC telemetry or transmitter integration? Or will it connect on AUX2 or Channel 0?

This is great news, Tomas! It's what we've been waiting for!
What are the typical uses of this upgrade you have developed so far? I can imagine it can be used for heli scale models and of course planes/ gliders. How about for heli 3D fliers? Does it contain a minimum height limiter similar to the soft deck/ hard deck of Skookum?
I have been watching this topic and waiting to pull the trigger on a Spirit Pro. But waiting for GPS news before buying. Can you update us a time line and features that will be available ? Thanks
We have changed few parts inside the module to achieve better performance. Now we are certain that the module is built from the best available parts for the purpose. Firmware testing is going well, some features are fully tested now and ready for usage. Enclosures are nearly ready as well.
