Would it be a problem if wifi module stays always connected, even while flying?
Do I have to unplug it in order to be on the safe side?

It can be connected and powered all the time.
For this case there is feature called Auto-Turn Off that you can enable in the web interface.

This will automatically turn off the module completely if nothing is connected to it. So then you are perfectly safe.

This is the coolest gadget I have ever used in this hobby,

It works perfect and it's very user-friendly. Web based configrator idea is just great. It's independant from platform.

Thanks ;)
