Would I expect any different feel with the Pro?

In case you do not know something or you are not sure, here is the right place for your question.

Hi there,

I've just updated to a SpiritPro on one of my helis. The is the first of these units for me.
I'm curious - would I expect to feel any difference in flight behaviour with the Pro unit?

Feel free to ignore this question and point me to an existing article/post if this has been answered already.

In this case it's on a 6s TDF running low-ish headspeed (1200), so it's quite soft.
I'm aware that all helis are different, that it's impossible to prescribe a feel given some settings.

Still curious if an average pilot might be expected to tell the difference in flight between the two units, or if it's more about getting additional sat & AUX ports. Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, I did take a look but didn't find anything.

Hi,

for sure you might feel difference. Some pilots are describing Spirit Pro as more precise.
But in our opinion it is just different and it is hard to say which one is better.
You can configure both to behave very similarly - values for cyclic feed forward, flight style, cyclic and rudder gains and other will be slightly different for both to get same feeling.

The biggest difference could be in the configuration for the rudder. So when using same profile, you might need to change some values little bit (especially Pirouette Consistency).

Ah. OK.

Given a low speed heli, would expect to a reduction in rudder gain?
Same for piro consistency?

Of course I would fly it first, but would be interested to understand the direction you think settings might go (up or down)

You will rather need to increase Rudder gain/Pirouette Consistency.
