[SOLVED] Unable to open settings program on Windows

Hi,
I am having trouble to get the spirit settings program to run on windows7 x64.
It will only show a splash screen with the S, and looking for devices. I am also unable to quit it, even through task manager, since it doesn´t appear to be running. The only way I have managed to quit it is by tapping several times with the mouse on the S until it shuts.
Drivers are installed and show a com port at device manager.
Also tried opening in compatibility mode with no success.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I have everything needed for it not to work: Bluetooth mouse and my 24/7 no reboot computer
